About us

My love for dogs has always been present but became toucheble in the seventies,
when I recieved from my coming husband  a five weeks old pup, who was rejected by the mother.
Since that time, dogs have always been part of our family.
Our family has two great passions. Arabian horses and Labrador Retrievers.

In the eighties we owned and trained bouviers and bred a few litters.
Being very busy of our family and breeding of the horses the dogs were recede into the background.

In 2009 Caith, Let’s Remind Showgirl of Dalwhinnie came in our lives.
A beautiful brown bitch with a wonderful character.
Because of the contact with her breeder, Gonny Oortveld, blood was thicker than water and I returned to the showscene.
Meanwhile, we have been run a few shows successfully.
The dogs are handled by our daughter Rachel, who used to be a little girl coming along to shows and now showing in the ring.

Early 2010 we got the opportunity to purchase a yellow bitch from the  Rocheby kennel of Marion and David Hopkinson in England.
Her name Rocheby Cornflower Blue, and we call her Eden. 

In the meantime another yellow bitch arrived, Miss Silver Sky of Dalwhinnie.
Her proud owner is our daughter Rachel.

It is intended that these three ladies in the future become the basis of our kennel Glenlara.
